Terms and conditions

This is a courtesy English summary. The legally binding Terms and Conditions are the Spanish Términos y condiciones. They are governed by Mexican law and Spanish is the controlling language; in case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails. This summary does not replace the full text — please read the Spanish version before accepting.

Who we are

Xok is a tax management and analytics platform operated by AfterSync Technologies, S. de R.L. de C.V., available at xok.mx. By creating an account, paying, checking the acceptance box, or using any feature, you enter into a binding agreement with us.

What Xok is — and is not

Xok provides multi-RFC management, an auditable CFDI vault, scheduled FullETL download from the SAT, stamping orchestrated through authorized third-party PACs, and tax-intelligence dashboards. Critically, Xok is not:

  • a PAC (we stamp through SAT-authorized PACs);
  • a tax, accounting, or legal advisor — figures and reports are technical evidence you must review and approve before filing;
  • a financial institution or “fintech”;
  • a party that files returns with the SAT on your behalf.

You remain responsible for verifying any figure, report, or calculation before filing with the SAT or making business decisions.

Your credentials and data

  • e.firma, CSD, and CIEC are stored encrypted (AES-256 in AWS Secrets Manager); no Xok employee can read your passwords in plaintext, and they’re used only to operate the Service.
  • Your data is yours. Xok processes it solely to provide the Service, never sells it, and does not use it to train general AI models. Privacy is governed by the Privacy notice.
  • Under the LFPDPPP, Xok acts as controller for your account/billing data and as processor for the tax data you upload (CFDIs, catalogs).

Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

  • Plans and prices are at xok.mx/pricing; prices are in MXN and do not include VAT.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew; you can cancel anytime from your account, effective at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • No refunds for partial periods already billed, except where the law protects consumers, for billing errors attributable to Xok, or termination for cause attributable to Xok.

Service levels, security, and liability

  • Reasonable-effort availability targets and incident-response times are in the SLA (Annex C); the Service is otherwise provided “as is” / “as available.”
  • Security incidents affecting your data are notified within 72 hours.
  • Xok’s total liability is capped at the amounts you paid in the prior 12 months, and Xok is not liable for SAT fines, calculation differences with the authority, your business decisions, or PAC/SAT outages.

Subprocessors

Xok relies on AWS (platform infrastructure), Cloudflare (website), Stripe (payments), Mailgun (email), and Facturama and Prodigia (PACs). The current list is in Annex B of the Spanish terms.

Governing law

Mexican law applies; jurisdiction is the courts of Monterrey, Nuevo León (without prejudice to consumer protections).
